As, hopefully, you will know we have been together for quite some time, and have lived together for over a year. Therefore, most of the traditional gifts you'd expect on a gift list are missing. However, there are still plently of things we're in need of, such as a new kettle, toaster, bed linen... we have also put on the list some furniture and some more pricy items.
While Argos don't offer the option to put money towards an item, we would like everyone to know that we really don't mind if some guests want to pool their money to buy something as a joint gift (in fact, we'd like to encourage you to!) For this reason, we've also allowed vouchers to be brought from the gift list too. However, there's still plenty of things on there for less than £10
As you look down the list, you'll see some recurring themes. Along with "kitchen", "bathroom" and so on, you'll also see a lot of cat themed items (we'll be buying a kitten after our honeymoon), Scout themed items (it's about time we got some of our own kit, such as air beds, fold up chairs, a Mag-Lite...) and also things for the Wii console (something which we are saving up for) so there's lots of things to choose from besides the norm.
And finally... the gift list is really there just in case you would like to buy us a gift for starting our married lives together but don't know what to buy. If you already have an idea (or don't want to buy us something), by all means ignore our list completely!
